After studying graphic design and then venturing into clean food, 23-year-old \u201chot boy\u201d Nguy\u1ec5n Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c is beginning to find success, earning billions on his chosen path.<\/span><\/p>\n

The turning point that made a former graphic design student the owner of a clean Vietnamese sausage business<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Nguy\u1ec5n Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c is a former graphic design student at FPT Polytechnic. After graduating, his strong academic record and active involvement in youth activities led the college to retain him as a staff member in its Program Development Department. He is also the founder and operator of DUKES Technology Design Limited Liability Company.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially, \u0110\u1ee9c's company focused on information technology and graphic design, the fields in which he had trained. Later, keeping pace with market trends, he decided to expand into marketing consulting for businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter operating for a while, I saw that many businesses were now developing in this direction. I thought we needed our own path to achieve a breakthrough, so I turned to food technology\u2014partly because it is my family's traditional profession and partly because the market still lacks professionally developed clean-food brands,\u201d Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c said he began building his clean Vietnamese pork sausage brand from the very first steps, applying what he learned at FPT Polytechnic College. \u201cI was trained in graphic design, so I began by creating the brand identity, logo and product packaging\u2026 Previously, my family operated informally. Although we already had quality certification and regular customers, there was no specific name or logo, which made the products seem rather \u2018handmade\u2019 and failed to convince most customers. With the new identity I created, things began to go smoothly and more people learned about us,\u201d \u0110\u1ee9c said happily.<\/span><\/p>\n

For \u0110\u1ee9c, the greatest stroke of luck was that despite studying Graphic Design, he gained much other knowledge and many skills at his school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Building a clean Vietnamese sausage brand<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old student said: \u201cAlongside specialist knowledge, the most important thing for me was developing marketing thinking in supplementary subjects. Extracurricular activities also taught students many soft skills: time management, organizing work, creative thinking, presenting, persuading customers, and handling images in marketing materials\u2026 As a student, I thought it was just fun to know more. Only after starting a business did I realize how valuable these lessons were and how much you would have to sacrifice to learn them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0110\u1ee9c is currently very busy with his own projects, working at the school while running his own company and building a clean Vietnamese pork sausage brand. \u201cThe most important thing is knowing how to divide tasks and manage time properly. During office hours, I work at the school, while someone helps me with the company. In the evening, I spend time with my family and finish any outstanding work. It\u2019s busy, but I feel very happy because I can follow the path I\u2019m passionate about,\u201d \u0110\u1ee9c said of his day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nguy\u1ec5n Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c's company reportedly has nearly 10 employees divided between administration and production. After 6 months of development, the clean Vietnamese sausage brand Vigo, built by its owner born in the 1990s, partnered with 3 b\u00e1nh m\u00ec brands and signed contracts with 5 food shops, selling half a ton per month. So far, \u0110\u1ee9c's income from clean sausage products has exceeded 500 million \u0111\u1ed3ng.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nguy\u1ec5n Ho\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ee9c says his upcoming goal is to bring his brand of clean Vietnamese pork rolls and patties to mini-supermarkets and clean-food shops across Ho Chi Minh City to serve customers. He also plans to open his own chain of shops selling these products and accompaniments.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo achieve this goal, I will have to keep trying and increase capacity by 200% from now. First, I need to learn more about management and business to meet the job\u2019s demands. My schedule is already full, but I will keep trying. I am young; if I believe I can do it, I will,\u201d the 23-year-old said with a bright smile about his plans.<\/span><\/p>\n
