\nLike all the young people I have known and spoken with, we long for a fulfilling, successful life. That might mean the traditional standard of \u20181 wife, 2 children, a 3-story house, and 4 wheels.\u2019 It might also mean a brilliant career extending beyond a stable job or employment for someone else, toward\u00a0succeed through something of your own, something you passionately nurture and want to share with the whole world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In short, they want to start their own company and become wealthy and successful through it. In other words, people want to START A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS.<\/p>\n

No dream is bad, and nobody taxes you for your dreams.<\/p>\n

Yet young people often suffer from \u201cNATO \u2013 No Action Talk Only.\u201d<\/p>\n

We do a lot of starting businesses in our dreams, in our words, and over idle caf\u00e9 conversations.<\/p>\n

Only a few, around 10%, \u2018Walk the Talk\u2019\u2014matching words with real action. I have met several such people at YUP!'s Training and Coaching courses.<\/p>\n

Within that meager 10%, only around 10% (by a straightforward estimate) prepare thoroughly and seriously before acting. As a result, more and more fall away, until SUCCESSFUL STARTUP stories are merely faint points of light in Vietnam's business sky.<\/p>\n

\u2018Markets are temporary. An effective business lasts forever.\u2019<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Indeed, in business, \u201cuniqueness\u201d sometimes no longer matters so much. People talk about business models and effectiveness. The same is true of entrepreneurship.

\nThe market will not stand still and wait for you to make a decision. But if a startup's entire decision-making system responds to the market's \u201cbeeps,\u201d you will forever be chasing its dizzying changes.<\/p>\n

The advice is: \u201cDo not keep reshaping your plow to suit everyone else's opinion\u201d<\/p>\n

The advice is to \u201cdo business by identifying needs based on trends, rather than isolated needs\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA long road reveals a good horse<\/em>\u201d \u2014as our ancestors taught, success comes to true excellence and perseverance. Fred Wilson also affirms in the quotation above,\u00a0the horses, or in other words, businesses that operate effectively and honestly, based on Real Capabilities <\/strong>instead of<\/strong> appearances, status or short-lived, self-serving relationships.<\/p>\n

How many times have you heard about a very \u2018attractive\u2019 business opportunity? What did your thinking tell you at that moment?<\/p>\n

Did it cry out, \u2018I know Mrs. T\u00e1m at the end of the alley needs this, and Uncle Ba mentioned last time that he needed this service too\u2026 So if I start, I already have two customers\u2026 Great! Let's do it!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n
