Hot dogs are a fast food we all know, but is there even 1 Vietnamese brand for this dish yet? That was the question the 2 Founders of Hot Dog Joy, Thanh T\u00f9ng and Th\u1ea3o, shared with YUP! when we first met at YUP!<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharing a love of the food industry and late-night snacks, and following their first unsuccessful attempt at selling Panna Cotta, Nguy\u1ec5n Thanh T\u00f9ng's project team continued its entrepreneurial journey more systematically with a new product, Hot Dog Joy<\/span><\/p>\n

The business idea began with the thought: Why not target fast food? Because this segment is easy to replicate?<\/span><\/p>\n

One strength of his hot dogs is the choice of 6 sauces. These sauces mainly originate from Vietnamese family meals. With their own recipes<\/span><\/p>\n

The current menu has 6 items, priced from VND 19.000-24.000 for individual hot dogs and VND 37.000-42.000 for combos.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"nguyenthanhtung-joy\"<\/a>Although he already had a fairly stable job as a Merchandiser at Nh\u00e0 B\u00e8 Garment Corporation, he still wanted to start a business to take control of his own finances without being dependent<\/span><\/p>\n

12\/11\/2014: He and his friend founded Hot Dog Joy and tested the market<\/span><\/p>\n

Results to date show that an average of 9\/10 people give positive feedback: \u201cTasty and not tiring to eat\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of figures, revenue during the 2-month market-testing period ranged from VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000 per day.<\/span><\/p>\n

YUP! acts as a strategic adviser and intermediary for meeting investors<\/span><\/p>\n

He has not thought much about a vision or mission yet, mainly wanting to achieve his immediate goals well first<\/span><\/p>\n

The distinctive feature is \u2018real tough\u2019\u2014imagery that accurately reflects the product's qualities<\/span><\/p>\n

The meaning of \u201cReal touch\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As children, whenever we held a favorite snack packet, a fragrant packet of noodles or a box of rich chocolate, especially with such appealing packaging pictures, imagining the moment we could enjoy food just like the pictures was delightful. But the words \u201cImages are for illustration purposes only\u201d spoiled everything. Gradually, that phrase became a social joke.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those moments of \u201cdisappointment\u201d gave rise to \u201creal touch,\u201d the core value of the JOY brand, carrying the simplest meaning: \u201cImages are NOT merely illustrative.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The lesson he learned from his own entrepreneurial journey: Entrepreneurship is 1 upside-down world where we must suffer first before happiness comes later. The bottom of hell is heaven itself<\/span><\/p>\n
