At just 18, George Matus Jr. of the US successfully developed the world's fastest drone under the Teal Drone brand, priced at $1,299 each.
Matus received a USD 100,000 scholarship for young entrepreneurs from the Peter Thiel Foundation at 17. A year later, he successfully developed the world's fastest drone under his own brand. His drone can fly at over 112 km/h in strong winds, far surpassing products from major brands such as DJI (maximum about 80 km/h), Parrot (maximum over 64 km/h) and 3D Robotic (maximum over 88 km/h).
