How can you accept failure and use it to achieve success? Below are secrets Brian Tracy shared on the site Entrepreneur:

We have always had to work very hard to achieve our goals and succeed. But have you ever noticed that experiencing failure can actually be better for your journey in the long run?

Ralph Waldo Emerson once expressed a similar thought: “The greatest glory in surviving amid falsehoods is not never knowing failure, but knowing how to rise after those falls.” In other words, failure is simply a time when we have not yet succeeded. Without those failures, humanity’s greatest inventions would never have appeared or survived to this day.

Let failure lead you to success at a point further than you imagined. Accepting failure is very important because it gives us the strength and courage to dig deeper and understand ourselves and what has shaped us. Along the way, you will learn many things.

Without failure, we would continue without understanding the vastness of the picture ahead. That understanding is important for achieving true success.

It has been said that failure is the greatest teacher of all time. It lets us see the world and its problems in entirely new ways and step beyond what we know or can know to seek answers others are afraid to pursue.

Failure teaches us how to become strong and trust our intuition. It even shows us the places best avoided on life's journey.

We tend to cling to a single solution or problem, forgetting that there are more than 100 or 1.000 other ways to reach the same destination. When we head in the wrong direction, we often either give up or deliberately “forget” that we were wrong and keep going. That will not bring you the best results.

Thomas Edison needed more than 1.000 attempts to successfully create the electric light bulb. When asked how it felt to fail 1.000 times, the scientist simply replied: “I did not fail 1.000 times; the electric light bulb was invented through 1.000 steps.”

If you always succeed, you will never know the joy of discovering how to overcome an obstacle. Failure gives you a chance to learn from your mistakes and see how to improve in the future.
