From 23/05/2013, the Center for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) officially invites organizations and businesses to register for the Social Enterprise Support Program 2013.
The Social Enterprise Support Program 2013 (SESP 2013) identifies and provides direct financial investment, capacity building, business advice, networking, and investment connections for social enterprises at critical stages of development, enhancing their sustainability and positive social impact on communities.
We seek out and invest in social enterprises at 2 stages of development:
– Incubation stage: Social enterprises implementing initiatives in early development and seeking support to validate their model, operational effectiveness, self-sustainability and social impact in a specific community.
– Acceleration stage: Social enterprises that have validated their operating model and initial social impact in a specific community and are planning and seeking resources to scale their business model and social impact.
In strategic partnership with Diageo Vietnam to implement “PlanW – Empowering Women Through Training” in Vietnam, we place particular emphasis on identifying and supporting social enterprises that have a positive impact on gender equality and women's empowerment.
– Social enterprises helping address women’s challenges and improve access to resources, opportunities and choices, thereby enhancing women’s capabilities and position in socioeconomic development.
– Social business models that create jobs for women
– Women-led social enterprises
– The program also seeks social enterprises addressing challenges in specific or cross-sector social fields, including sustainable agriculture; livelihoods, job creation and empowerment of disadvantaged communities; education and capacity building; community health; and care for older people;
The program accepts applications through 30/06/2013.
