DesignBold is the startup team that won Creative Business Cup Vietnam 2016 and represented Vietnam at the Creative Business Cup global finals 2016 in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 20-24/11/2016. Notably, the startup's founder is Hùng Đinh, known for developing the globally acclaimed JoomlArt service.
DesignBold is a design tool that allows everyone from amateurs to professionals to create various publications themselves through simple operations. Its library currently contains more than 60 million licensed stock photos and vectors and over 4000 ready-made designs.
Sharing on his personal page, Hùng Đinh said: ‘With the arrival of DesignBold, marketers and SME owners will no longer have to depend on designers for materials such as Facebook covers, flyers, and standees.’.
Speaking Further About His Success, He Shares: “We have not yet reached USD 50,000/1 day like Hà Đông's FlappyBird, but what is exciting is that DesignBold is not a ‘flash in the pan.’ We are taking part in a long-term, sustainable revolution aimed at completely transforming the traditional graphic-design experience.”.
DesignBold's target for its first 2 weeks of sales was 3,000 orders, equivalent to revenue of USD 117,000.
With a selling price of 39 USD per product, Hùng Đinh clearly identified DesignBold's path from the moment the idea emerged in January 2016: the international market. At a self-design cost of 39 USD, reaching revenue of 10,000 USD/day in the Vietnamese market would take a very long time.
Hopefully DesignBold will achieve the success expected of it and become a globally recognized Vietnamese product alongside Flappy Bird and JoomlArt.
