Y U P has successfully delivered a new training program called ‘Happy Business’ for Vietnam's largest interior design company

Y U P’s new training program, Happy Business, recently held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, achieved resounding success.

Many of us work not out of passion but simply in anticipation of our monthly salary. Somewhere, these people spend their entire lives struggling to balance money and happiness. Working all day for money leaves body and mind exhausted. Choosing an easy job to have time to nurture happiness, meanwhile, means earning less. Yet these are all choices. Why can't we choose both?

A job that both provides income and brings joy while doing it—why not? Especially when 1/3 of a person's life is spent working, 1/3 sleeping, and only 1/3 on everything else, including eating, traveling, learning, recreation, and more.

When employees feel that going to work is wonderful and enjoyable, they work enthusiastically. This lifts their spirits more and more, so they feel happy even when they get home. Their quality of life therefore improves significantly. Doesn't everyone want to live happily every day?

That is how it affects individual employees. But employee happiness also has a major impact on the company. Employees are the bridge between customers and the business. Happy employees mean happy customers. And when employees work enthusiastically, business results naturally excel. Becoming a Happy Business is therefore a very worthwhile investment.

Happiness at work does not come only from salary and bonuses. It naturally arises when good results and good relationships come together. And it certainly does not come from one side alone, but from the joint efforts of employees and the business.

On 23&24/04/2021, Y U P held a short training course titled Happy Business for Vietnam’s largest interior design company. This company has created distinctive workspaces for well-known companies such as Unilever, Garmin, Foody, Shopee, Tiki and Axon Lab…

The program is designed to pursue the main goal of:

  • Inspire, educate, and interact to support the development of Happy Managers.
  • Build the company into a Happy Enterprise.

Games, discussions, experiential activities and more were integrated into the lessons to support training, and company employees participated enthusiastically. These activities helped colleagues clear up past misunderstandings about one another and themselves. They also had opportunities to thank and praise coworkers with whom they had long shared an office but rarely spoken.

The program was considered a resounding success as company employees truly became one within the larger team and freely expressed themselves. There were tears, words of thanks, and hugs that they would ordinarily never dare express. Happy Business officially concluded after bringing wonderful value to participating employees.
