Dear YUP Academy,
First, my sincere thanks to the instructors and everyone who supported us throughout the recent Training phase!
After completing the first module, I found the teaching quality and facilities at YUP very good, and I am very satisfied!
Of the 9 modules, my favorite was Teacher Lý Trường Chiến's. He taught in depth about vision, strategy, and the “foundations” for building 1 solid business system, putting “Heart” and Customers first.
I also found that the remaining modules provided fairly comprehensive basic knowledge—market research, sales, marketing, planning, and so on—giving an overview of what someone starting a business needs (for me, as a student, at least knowing what needs to be done to start a business).
I also hope that in future courses, the teachers will cover the Market Research module in greater depth (because, as they said, this is 1 quite important module, but I was not entirely satisfied with the amount of knowledge taught).
During the course, participants were cheerful and friendly, discussing and sharing information together and building connections between project teams.
I also like YUP's student care (the staff, email notices, phone calls…).
Besides meetups organized by the class representative, I hope YUP will arrange a few more gatherings across courses so everyone can connect, talk, and learn from those who have already started businesses.
Personally, I feel I have gained a great deal of useful knowledge. Honestly, before studying at YUP, I thought all I needed was a small idea, sales, and advertising to do business. But the more I learned, the more I realized how many competitors I had, how much knowledge I lacked, and that my idea was not particularly special. My determination weakened compared with the beginning, perhaps because I feared taking action and failing. Reading this, you may think I am simply finding excuses for my timidity. But while writing it, I have also decided to finish this course, get full value from the savings I spent, and feel fortunate to have discovered this dynamic, passionate entrepreneurial environment.
I have always had 1 question: how do “successful” people replenish their emotions or energy every day to overcome difficulties and pressures and move toward their goals? If I may make a suggestion, I would propose 1 module or 1 program on this issue to help Yuppies keep the entrepreneurial fire burning in their hearts.
That concludes my ‘essay.’ Once again, I sincerely thank the instructors and everyone who has supported me recently! For the New Year, I wish everyone good health!
