Reflections from Võ Ngọc Trân – Entrepreneurship Student at YUP!
My name is Võ Ngọc Trân. I am a learner from Cần Thơ. I began as 1 lecturer at Cần Thơ University, and after more than 10 years working there, I started my own business. I have had some business experience, including profitable periods and times of loss. Throughout that time, my business was entirely self-initiated, and I learned by reading books on my own.
After those failures, I decided to study and expand my knowledge.
My first impression, from the introductory session, was that the course was very useful, so I chose to attend YUP rather than other courses in Ho Chi Minh City. The difference that led to my choice was the 2 years of Coaching after the course.
As I hoped, the course helped organize the knowledge I had picked up here and there during my business journey. What I valued was being able to answer why my business made profits and why it incurred losses. I felt the course offered highly practical, applicable knowledge. I only wish I had taken it earlier, when I first started, to save the money and time I spent learning on my own
After this course, I feel more confident than when I used to sit scratching my head, wondering whether to carry out my project. The classroom felt very warm, with others traveling the same path. Having companions made me feel less alone and more motivated to commit myself.
Finally, what reassures me most is the guidance of YUP!'s teaching team. It gives me strength on the challenging, difficult road of entrepreneurship.
Sincere thanks to everyone at YUP! for providing a friendly, welcoming learning environment, and to the teachers for taking the time to share extremely valuable knowledge with our class.
