Steve Wozniak does not consider money the most important thing for his happiness.
Steve Wozniak, Apple's co-founder, revealed to the world that he had discovered his own formula for happiness when he was just 20.
Speaking at the Nordic Economic Forum in Stockholm, the 67-year-old billionaire shared: “I developed my life philosophies as soon as I turned 20… How do you live? How do you become a good person?”
‘If I died with a spacecraft and abundant wealth, would I be as happy as I am when I can smile? Then I thought of the pranks, funny stories, and songs I had heard that made me smile.’

‘Perhaps financial success can also make you happy, but for me happiness is simply a smile. So I came up with a formula for my life: happiness equals smiles minus frowns,’ Wozniak said.
Current estimates put Wozniak's fortune at 100 million USD. Apple's co-founder says the key is to try to reduce sadness to the lowest possible level.
“How do you get rid of those unhappy frowns? Let things happen as they are. If something bad occurs, simply say something like, ‘Oh, the car got scratched. That is all right; I will have it repaired,’” he explained.
Wozniak says he dislikes arguing, complaining, or blaming others because those things make him uncomfortable.
‘And do not argue. Do not argue. You cannot win an argument; you will only carry the unhappiness with you. In life, there is only one person you need to persuade: yourself.’
