Dear YUP!
After completing the course, I gained many things I deeply value. First, I learned much that was new about entrepreneurship: developing models and strategies, selling, working together to build a startup team, and bringing products to market. This new knowledge shaped a different mindset from the one I had when I first wanted to start a business. I also greatly appreciated how generously YUP!’s teachers shared their business experience.
I now realize that starting a business is very different from the time when I only had the initial idea. I have realized that entrepreneurship requires a team, and that capable people who love business are a prerequisite for success. In addition, I must set out a strategy for bringing products and services to the market. I therefore realize that I am now equipped with the necessary entrepreneurial knowledge and no longer have to spend so much time figuring out a direction as before.
My current project involves roasted and ground coffee, civet coffee, and a book café, and I am still improving many things. After studying, I recognized many shortcomings, so the project is now in a phase of further research to make it more solid.
My relationships with classmates are quite good. We have made more connections, but I still have not found a co-founder in the class.
My favorite module was forming and leading a startup team. I realized that to succeed in entrepreneurship, you cannot do it alone.
What I value most is the knowledge gained at YUP! and the support you have planned to give startups more motivation to continue. Your support is a powerful driving force helping us through difficult times.
What makes YUP! different is that we remain connected after the course and move forward together.
We need more support from YUP! during the coaching stage and the stage of introductions to potential investors.
